Battery is the most common iPad repair we do, by a long way. Most iPads that come in are still perfectly good otherwise — they just can't hold a charge any more.

A cracked iPad screen often still shows a perfect picture. On some models only the touch glass on top needs replacing — that's the repair standard iPads come in for most after batteries.

When the iPad makes sounds and vibrates but the screen stays black, or the picture has lines and patches, the display itself is usually the problem — not the glass.

If the cable has to be held at an angle before the iPad charges, the port is usually worn or packed with lint. Sometimes a careful clean is all it takes.

A dead iPad isn't always a dead board. A completely flat battery, a faulty charging port, or a cable can all look the same from the outside.
