Check these first
- Look at the speaker mesh. Earwax builds up there and muffles the sound — clean gently with a dry soft brush, never liquid.
- Check the left/right balance on your iPhone: Settings → Accessibility → Audio & Visual → Balance should be in the middle.
- Reset the AirPods: put both in the case, forget the device in Bluetooth settings, then hold the case button until the light flashes and pair again.
